My wife and I embarked on a basement finishing/remodel and had no idea what we were doing or how to start. We got Jason's name from a friend and interviewed a number of contractors to take on the project. We chose Jason based on his ability to explain things to us with great patience and detail.....and we made the right choice.
I'm not the easiest person to deal with because I am very practical and detailed....but Jason's attention to detail, integrity, and downright professionalism made this a non-issue during the project. I've known Jason Staral (Staral Builders) since 2009 when he constructed an elaborate wine cellar in my basement. The craftsmanship was superior. It included all aspects of construction: rough and finish, complete carpentry, masonry, plumbing and stone floor. His attention to detail and completing the project on time was outstanding.
Jason also has very good communication skills which I found very unique to his trade. This made the process very enjoyable.

We have hired Jason Staral of Staral Builders LLC as our General Contractor on 2 occasions. Our first project was a 3/4 bath full remodel including complete demolition and upgrade. We were happy with every single thing including these facts: Jason is very personalbe and easy to communicate with; he addresses & deals with issues promptly and thoroughly, both before and after completion; he is conscientious and trustworthy and we felt very comfortable having him & the subcontractors in our home, even when we were away for extended periods. We hired Jason and his subcontractors this past winter to do a second, larger remodelling project including 2 full bathrooms, hallway and dressing room/closets. Again, we were very satisfied with his work throughout. We know that even today, if we call him about any detail, he will get back to us promptly and respond to our needs in a satisfactory manner. We highly recommend Jason Staral to anyone considering building or remodeling. The completed work is of very high quality.
